The Digital Key feature in the My Disney Experience app has been rolled out to all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.
The feature allows guests to unlock their resort hotel room using the My Disney Experience app.
This is in addition to being able to use your MagicBand to unlock your hotel room.
And because it’s Disney, guests will hear the sound of pixie dust “filling the air” as they unlock their room using their Bluetooth-enabled phone.

Solo: A Star Wars Story arrives in theaters on May 25, but fans can start buying merchandise tied to the new film starting April 13.
New merchandise will be available at shopDisney.com, Amazon, and Walmart (all of which are taking pre-orders now).
Additional product will be available at mass retailers, Disney store, shopDisney.com, and the Disney Parks starting on April 13 – and will continue to roll out through May.

A new digital key feature is coming soon to the My Disney Experience app.
The first resort with this feature will be Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Using the My Disney Experience app, guests will be able to unlock their hotel room door.
Guests will also be able to use the mobile app to unlock common areas around the hotels including pools, fitness centers, elevators and club level lounges.
And, guests who have checked in online can bypass checking in at the front desk and can use the app to unlock their room’s door.

Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort will find more retail MagicBand designs available this month.
One of the new designs is inspired by the Instagram-worthy purple wall at the Magic Kingdom. The band features the phrase “meet me at the purple wall.”
The Purple Wall MagicBand will be available online during a flash sale that starts March 5.

The 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival kicks off February 28 and Disney has given guests a preview of the commemorative merchandise for the Festival.
This year’s slate of merchandise features more than 75 items including apparel, home goods, handbags, and more.
And, many of the items also includes the 25th anniversary logo.
There are four art collections for this year’s slate of merchandise: Mickey’s Grove features Mickey, Pluto, and Orange Bird; Figment Discovers starring Figment; Fresh Epcot; and Minnie’s Farmhouse Flower Shop feature Minnie and her cat Figaro.

Two new MagicBand colors and several new designs are coming to the retail MagicBand selection at Walt Disney World Resort.
A new navy blue MagicBand inspired by Peter Pan‘s 65th anniversary is available online and will be available in stores on February 9. The retail price is $22.99 plus tax.
A cream MagicBand is coming as a limited release Dooney & Bourke MagicBand. This band comes in a suitcase-themed packaging and may be purchased in the theme parks for $48 plus tax.

Disney has released several more new retail MagicBands at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The latest design – I Am Mickey MagicBand – is a pre-customized band that pays homage to Mickey Mouse with a black MagicBand and yellow center icon. This MagicBand is available for $22.99 where MagicBands are sold.
Guests will also find a Limited Edition MagicBand featuring Aladdin and Jasmine. This teal band is perfect for Valentine’s Day and retails for $32.99. There are only 2,400 available.

Two new MagicBand colors are coming to Disney World!
The first new color – brown – debuted this week in a new Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs design. This new band retails for $22.99, features the Dwarfs and some “diamonds” from their mine, and is now available.
The other new color is pink – a “solid-color millennial pink” as Disney calls it – and this band will be available beginning January 8, 2018.
The pink MagicBand will retail for $12.99.
