The Pirates League in Walt Disney World Introduces New Looks

For the past few years, Walt Disney World guests have been able to get their very own Pirate makeover during their Disney vacation, thanks to The Pirates League in Adventureland. This week, Disney introduced some new looks to The Pirates League that both boys and girls are sure to love.

For the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last summer, Disney introduced a special Mermaid Transformation package to The Pirates League, which allows guests to look like the mermaids from the film. Based on the popularity of the temporary package, Disney has decided to offer the package once again. As of March 19, girls and women of all ages can once again purchase this deluxe package, which includes a special makeup application and hairstyle, nail polish from O.P.I., and more.

Young boys will love another new look coming to The Pirates League, which is based on the hit show Jake and the Neverland Pirates. The new package, available for boys ages 3 and up, will include Jake facial features and a Jake Bandana with faux spiked hair, along with the official Pirates League Sword and Sheath, Treasure Bag and Pirate Coin Necklace.

Girls and boys looking to be transformed into more traditional Pirates will now have an updated look to enjoy. The Empresses look for girls has been updated to be more trendy and vibrant, and the First Mate package for boys now comes with a Blackbeard Facial Effect option. Both packages include Pirate Facial effect or makeup application, pirate bandana and earring, sword and Pirates League sheath, plus an official treasure bag and pirate coin necklace; in addition, the Empresses package includes your choice of lip gloss or nail polish.
