The Week in Disney News: Preview of Culinary Options at Festival of the Arts, New Year’s Eve Fireworks, and More

If you aren’t going to make it to the Magic Kingdom for New Year’s Eve you can still check out the fireworks thanks to a live broadcast on the Disney Parks Blog next Saturday night.

Guests at Disneyland can now make reservations for two Main Street Electrical Parade dining package options. One is a table service meal at Blue Bayou and the other is a grab-and-go option from Aladdin’s Oasis.

Disney gave guests a sneak peek at some of the culinary masterpieces that will be available at the first Epcot Festival of the Arts which begins in January.

runDisney has announced new digital event guides for all races in 2017. The event guides will feature pre- and post-race guides for participants.

The Walt Disney Studios shattered the global box office record by reaching $7 billion this week.

Annual Passholders at Walt Disney World can use special entry gates at all four of the Disney World theme parks through the holiday season.

And finally, the new Star Wars Guided Tour starts January 2 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The seven-hour tour is available on Mondays and Tuesday and costs $129 per person. The price does not include admission to the theme park.
