golf course 1The Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando is officially opened.

The 18-hole championship course was originally Disney’s Osprey Ridge, a Tom Fazio-designed course that was built in 1992. The new course features enhancements including a completely new hole, renovated bunkers, improved visibility, and a fully renovated clubhouse.

The course is a Par 71 and each hole features four sets of tees to accommodate any skill level.

“I am very proud of the transformation of the Tranquilo Golf Club golf course,” said Tom Fazio of Fazio Golf Design.  Since the course opened over 20 years ago, it has been considered among the best courses in the region, and the recent upgrades and improvements to the course will surely solidify that reputation for many years to come.”

The course has also been certified by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary program for golf by the National Audubon Society. The native plants and trees and the naturalized areas on the course provide water and food for the local and migratory wildlife.

Individual tee times for registered Four Seasons resort guests are available up to 60 days in advance, while the course is open to the public for tee times up to 30 days in advance. The course offers golf carts that accommodate a family of four and children 12 and younger play free with an adult. Kids ages 13-18 play at half price.
