Last month, we gave you a look at some concept art for Pixar’s upcoming films, including the Pete Docter-helmed film that was introduced as “The Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside the Mind.” Now, we have some more news to report on this mysterious new film, as it has been announced that it will be titled Inside Out.
News of the title, which is nearly identical to the original rumored title The Inside Out, was first reported by ComingSoon.net. Disney is expected to confirm the title soon.
To date, the only news that has been officially confirmed about the film, which will be Monsters Inc. director Pete Docter’s first project since 2009’s Up, is that it will take audiences to “the world inside the human mind.” However, Coming Soon also broke the news this week that the mind that we’ll be venturing into is that of a little girl, making Inside Out Pixar’s second film with a female protagonist, the first being last summer’s Brave.
Stay tuned for more news on this incredibly intriguing new film.
