Disney Announces HGTV Stars, Flower Power Concert Schedule for 2012 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

Walt Disney World’s Epcot is gearing up for its annual International Flower and Garden Festival this spring, and more details are being announced for those who will be at the park to enjoy the festivities. The festival, which runs this year from March 7-May 20, 2012, includes elaborate character topiaries, activities and demonstrations, unique gardens that highlight different countries in World Showcase, and more.

This year, Disney will once again be partnering with HGTV to bring special demonstrations and presentations to guests. Throughout the festival, stars of HGTV shows will be appearing for these presentations, giving festival guests a very exciting opportunity to learn from these HGTV stars.

Here is the current schedule of HGTV stars set to appear at the Festival (Talent/dates are subject to change):

  • John Gidding, HGTV’s Curb Appeal: The Block—presenting March 9 – 11
  • Sabrina Soto, HGTV’s The High/Low Project—presenting March 16 – 18
  • Jason CameronDIY Network’s Desperate Landscapes and Man Caves—presenting March 23 – 25
  • Camille Styles, HGTV.com Entertainment contributor—presenting March 30 – April 1
  • Dan Faires, HGTV.com’s DanMade, Fan Favorite HGTV Design Star Season 5—presenting April 6 – 8
  • Brandon Johnson, host of HGTV’s My Yard Goes Disney—presenting April 13 – 15
  • Meg Caswell, HGTV’s Meg’s Great Rooms—presenting April 20 – 22
  • Monica PedersenHGTV Dream Home Tour 2012 and Designed to Sell—presenting April 27 – 29
  • Antonio Ballatore, HGTV’s The Antonio Treatment—presenting May 4 – 6
  • To be determined—presenting May 11 – 13
  • Genevieve Gorder, HGTV’s Dear Genevieve and HGTV Design Star—presenting May 18 – 20

Another favorite feature of the Flower & Garden Festival is the “Flower Power” concert series, which runs each weekend throughout the festival. The concerts take place at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the festival, with performances occurring at 5:15 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:45 PM.

  • March 9-11: Jose Feliciano (known for Light My Fire)
  • March 16-18: Starship Starring Mickey Thomas (known for We Built This City)
  • March 23-25: The Guess Who (known for American Woman)
  • March 30-April 1: The Spinners (known for Cupid)
  • April 6-8: Chubby Checker and the Wildcats (known for The Twist)
  • April 13-15: Paul Revere and the Raiders (known for Good Thing)
  • April 20-22: The Turtles Featuring Flo & Eddie (known for Happy Together)
  • April 27-29: Chuck Negron, Formerly of Three Dog Night (known for Joy to the World)
  • May 4-6: The Orchestra Starring Former Members of ELO (known for Don’t Bring Me Down)
  • May 11-13: Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone (known for I’m Henry VIII, I Am)
  • May 18-20: Davy Jones (known for I’m a Believer)
