25 May 2012 No Comment

Disney Junior has unveiled two new apps for young kids: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally Appisode for the iPad and Jake’s Never Land Pirate School for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse app allows kids to interact with a full episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and will help enhance the learning experience for children ages 2 to 7.

Says Albert Cheng, executive vice president and chief product officer, digital media for Disney/ABC Television Group:

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally marks an unprecedented level of interactivity for Disney Junior shows. This is the first time we’ve integrated interactive content into the actual story, and is a great example of how iPad can enhance the original viewing and learning experience for popular shows.

Meanwhile, Jake’s Never Land Pirate School will allow kids to interact with a variety of pirate-themed challenges like pixie dust and spyglass classes; sailing and pirate band learning experiences.

Both apps are free and are available now at the App Store.
