Disney Launches ‘Toy Story: Smash It!’ Mobile Game

Continuing their tradition of producing popular mobile games, Disney Mobile has recently launched another title to their roster: Toy Story: Smash It! 
Based on the popular film franchise, the 3D puzzle game immerses players into the magical world of toys and lets them play as Buzz Lightyear. There will also be encounters with other familiar faces from the movies, including Woody, Jessie, Hamm and Rez. With four episodes and 60 levels of play, the game will culminate with an epic battle against the evil Zurg.

Disney/ABC Launch ‘Super Speedway’ App

Disney/ABC Television Group are launching a new app: Disney Super Speedway.
The app, available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, is a new racing game where players can race animated characters from popular Disney shows like Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls and Fish Hooks, among others.
Players can choose from three starting characters and earn credits that allow them to unlock additional characters as the game progresses. Disney’s ‘Where’s My Water?’ App Gets ‘Frankenweenie’ Makeover

Disney’s Where’s My Water? mobile app recently celebrated its one year anniversary, and will be getting a Frankenweenie-inspired makeover just in time for the Halloween season.
Today, Disney released 10 new levels of gameplay for free, which feature spooky music, black & white coloring and a cameo from Sparky, the dog from the film who comes back to life. Additionally, players will be able to obtain icons and collectibles while they play.
The app is available for the iPad, iPod touch and iPhone as well as Android devices.

Disney/ABC Launch ‘Fish Hooks’ App

Disney/ABC’s Digital Media Team have launched a new app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch based on the Disney Channel series Fish Hooks.
The new game features Milo the fish and his buddies from Freshwater High. During the game, players take on the role of Milo and must beat the crab – Randy Pincherson’s – elaborate obstacle course. Disney Releases More Live T.V. Apps for Comcast Subscribers

In late May, The Walt Disney Co. announced plans for a mobile app that would enable Comcast subscribers to watch Disney Channel on the go. Now this app, along with two additional apps, have been released and available to consumers.
These new mobile apps are not available to those who are not currently subscribed to Comcast, and can only be purchased as a bundle. Additionally, these mobile apps can only be purchased by subscribers who pay for bundles of channels together on a monthly plan.

Disney Junior Launches Two New Apps for Young Kids

Disney Junior has unveiled two new apps for young kids: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally Appisode for the iPad and Jake’s Never Land Pirate School for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse app allows kids to interact with a full episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and will help enhance the learning experience for children ages 2 to 7.

Disney Interactive Labs recently announced the launch of a new video portal site where consumers can view clips, movie trailers and YouTube videos online or from any mobile device.

Disney World Using the iPad for New FastPass System

Walt Disney World is currently testing their new FastPass system, and now we’ve heard that Disney World employees have been given iPads in carry around the theme park as part of the testing phase.
