Goofy’s Sky School Opens at Disney California Adventure Park

Many changes have been underway recently at the Disneyland Resort’s Disney California Adventure Park. New restaurants, attractions, and even lands are coming to the park; the new attraction The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure opened on June 2, and the park will see the addition of “Cars Land” in 2012. Yesterday brought yet another of the park’s new additions, as the revamped attraction Goofy’s Sky School opened in the park’s Paradise Pier section. The attraction, a re-themed update of the park’s previous attraction Mulholland Madness, is a “wild mouse”-style roller coaster inspired by the 1940 cartoon “Goofy’s Glider.” On the attraction, guests journey past signs that give instructions from Goofy himself on how to fly.

Goofy’s Sky School was originally expected to open on June 3, but more time was needed to transform the attraction from its prior Mulholland Madness theme. The opening of this attraction marks the completion of Paradise Pier’s new transformation; along with Goofy’s Sky School and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, the land also welcomed new brand-new dining and shopping options.
