Video:  Selena Gomez Discusses Friendship with Taylor Swift

Selena Gomez took a little time out of her busy schedule this week to sit down with a radio station in her hometown of Dallas.  The “Wizards of Waverly” star chatted about her upcoming film, “Monte Carlo,” due out next spring, but she also discussed her good friend, Taylor Swift.  Check out the video below for Selena’s thoughts on Taylor’s straight ‘do, her AMA performance, and what the good friends plan to do for Christmas.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Now Offering Rapunzel Makeovers

Move over, Hannah Montana:  make way for Rapunzel!
Recently, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World began offering pint-sized princesses the opportunity to transform into Rapunzel, star of the latest Disney animated feature, “Tangled.”  The makeover, which includes the requisite long, flowing, golden wig, also incorporates sparkly makeup, a face gem, and a princess bag and sash.  The cost of the star treatment?  $52.14.  The package is available for a limited time only, through December 31.

‘The Lone Ranger’ to Reunite Johnny Depp and Gore Verbinski

After a long period of negotiation, Variety confirms that director Gore Verbinski has been signed on to direct Disney’s upcoming feature, “The Lone Ranger.”
The film, still in early development, reunites Disney, Verbinski, Jerry Bruckheimer as producer, and Johnny Depp in the role of Tonto. Verbinski, Bruckheimer, and Depp created magic in the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films, one of the most successful film franchises ever.
No word on who will play the title role, when the film is scheduled for release, or when production will begin.

Disney VoluntEARS Bring Spirit of Thanksgiving to Coalition for the Homeless

Every month, Disney VoluntEARS donate personal time to help feed the hungry of Central Florida, and Thanksgiving is no exception.  Chef de Cuisine Leonard Thomson of Epcot Catering and a willing band of Disney VoluntEARS are spending several hours this week preparing a veritable feast to share with the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.
VoluntEARS are preparing meals for more than 700 people who will spend the holiday at the Coalition, including families with small children.

Old Spice Classic, Harlem Globetrotters at Walt Disney World Thanksgiving Weekend

As we bid goodbye to college football’s regular season for another year, Disney has some terrific hoops action to move us on to the next big thing:  college basketball!
Some of the most-beloved names in college basketball will be playing in the Fifth Annual Old Spice Classic, which begins on Thanksgiving Day, and runs through Sunday, November 28th.

Superstar couple Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas took time out of their busy vacation schedule on Wednesday, November 24, to pose for a picture with Mickey and Minnie at Epcot.  The couple, along with their children Dylan and Carys, celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary with a family trip to Walt Disney World.

Disneyland Resort to Offer New Vacation Package Incentives

Visitors who book their Disneyland getaway now for the new year can take advantage of some terrific savings while enjoying the enchantment of Walt Disney’s original playground.
