Star Sightings All Over the Kingdom:  Blair Underwood, Joe Jonas, and Ashley Greene

Wednesday was a popular day to do some star gazing at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Over in Tomorrowland, Joe Jonas of the popular rock trio Jonas Brothers posed for a picture in front of Space Mountain with main squeeze Ashley Greene of “Twilight” fame.
Across the park, TV president Blair Underwood of the NBC drama “The Event” mugged for wife Desiree, along with the couples’ three children, outside of the Hall of Presidents.

Artists for Night of Joy 2011 Announced

As we are set to celebrate the dawn of a brand new year, Disney is giving us a first look at the talent lined up for 2011 Night of Joy.
This year, which marks the 29th consecutive year for the Contemporary Christian music event,  will feature groups and solo artists alike, with a mix of styles guaranteed to appeal to just about everybody.
More acts will be announced later, but here is the lineup so far:

‘The Vault of Walt’ Author Jim Korkis to Appear at Orlando Public Library

Jim Korkis, author of “The Vault of Walt:  Unnofficial, Unauthorized, Uncensored Disney Stories Never Told,” will appear at the Orlando County Library on Saturday, January 8.  The author and Disney historian will share anecdotes and other entertaining stories, as well as bonus content that didn’t make it into the book.  He will also share a short film with the audience.
Mr. Korkis will be available to answer questions after the presentation, “Cracking the Vault Disney.”  Copies of the book will available for purchase and for signing by the author.  If you can’t …

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber Spotted Hanging Together in Miami

Selena Gomez is once again hanging out with pal Justin Bieber and dodging rumors that the two are a couple.
The popular teen sensations – she of Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” – have been spotted all over together, yet deny that they are involved romantically.
The latest sightings have occurred in Miami – at the Gansevoort Hotel, where Bieber is reportedly staying, sharing a stroll together through Miami Beach’s streets, and aboard Bieber’s tour bus after his recent concert at the American Airlines Arena.

Disney Pixar Characters to Grace New Postage Stamps

Look for your favorite Disney Pixar to grace United States Postage Stamps next year!  Soon, you’ll be able to send your snail mail graced with characters from “Cars,” “Ratatouille,” “Toy Story,” “Up,” and “Wall-E.” 
The stamps are part of a commemorative collector’s series, and will go on sale on August, 19.  Doubly cool:  they will be “Forever” stamps, which means that they will be valid regardless of how much postage increases in the future.

Demi Lovato Will NOT Be In Joss Whedon’s “Avengers”

Rumors had been swirling about Demi Lovato starring in a new Marvel “Avengers” movie, however the Hollywood Reporter says that the Disney Channel star will not be in the movie. According to the article:
Sources inside Lovato’s camp as well as Marvel’s, however, said there was no truth to the rumor, denying across the board Lovato’s involvement. Part of the problem in hiring the actress is that she’s currently in rehab “for emotional and physical issues.”
Obviously her rehab would interfere with such plans, but it seems she’s already been ruled …

Rose Bowl Contenders Spend Day at Disneyland

In a tradition that dates back over fifty years, Disneyland played host to the two collegiate teams that will compete in one of the biggest bowl games:  the Rose Bowl.
Members of the University of Wisconsin Badgers joined players from Texas Christian University’s Horned Frogs in a brief ceremony on Sunday, held in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.  Each team received crystal replicas of the Disneyland landmark to commemorate the occasion, before heading out to have some fun on the park’s rides.

Star Sighting:  Daniel Dae Kim Does Hollywood Studios

Daniel Dae Kim, who last season wrapped a successful run on the ABC drama “Lost,” was spotted today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, hanging ten with Lilo! Kim is currently starring in the CBS crime drama “Hawaii 5-0.” Both series have been filmed in Hawaii, so it’s certain that Lilo and Kim will be comparing notes on their favorite island hot spots!
