All Walt Disney World Resort Park Entrances Are Now Turnstile Free

Earlier this week the Magic Kingdom reached a milestone as the park’s last touch point entry system was unveiled.

With the unveiling all Walt Disney World Resort park entrances are turnstile free.

In February of this year, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park was the first park to trade in its turnstiles for touch point entries. The other parks have seen turnstiles replaced by touch point systems throughout the year.

The new touch point entry system will streamline the entrance process for guests as they arrive at the parks. Guests now only need to touch their ticket, Annual Pass, or MagicBand to the touch point as they enter the park. Cast members will still be stationed at the entrances to assist and greet guests.

The turnstile free entrances will also make it easier for large groups, or guests with wheelchairs or strollers to enter the parks.
