A Disney Channel press release today has announced the premiere of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” for Friday, September 3rd at 8 PM EST. The sequel to the 2008 smash stars Disney darling Demi Lovato and the ever-popular Jonas Brothers and promises to bring back other “fan favorites” from the original.
In what looks to be a Labor Day weekend extravaganza, Disney Channel has lined up a bounty of extras for “Camp Rock” fans. Besides the premiere, a “Rock Along” edition complete with lyrics on the screen and a “Sunday Dance Jam” edition will be shown. In addition, Radio Disney will air two special “On the Set” programs.
The movie’s soundtrack is available on iTunes today while an extended edition of the movie will hit stores on Tuesday, September 7.
