Marvel Entertainment, LLC is launching several new drinkware lines that will include Marvel characters from the Avengers and Spider-Man franchises.
Some of the designs are inspired by Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
One of the new product collaborations is with Thermos and will be available later this summer, just in time for back-to-school. The products will feature characters from The Avengers, Spider-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
In addition to insulated containers, the Thermos line will also include lunch kits and food jars.
“At Marvel we are always looking for ways to use the impact of our characters to convey positive messages to kids,” said Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel at Disney Consumer Products. “Staying hydrated throughout the day is crucial for kids and adults alike, and we love that through our Super Heroes like Captain America and Iron Man we can make hydration cool.”
Another product line from Zak Designs will feature Spider-Man and Avengers characters, in addition to lines tied directly to the releases of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
