Adventures by Disney New York City Vacation Includes Cruise on Disney Cruise Line

Adventures by Disney has announced a New York City vacation that also includes a Disney Cruise Line sailing.
Guests sailing out of the New York City cruise terminal on Disney Cruise Line can add an Adventures by Disney “pre-cruise adventure” to their itinerary.
The 3-day, 4-night New York City vacation can be booked along with a cruise or as a standalone vacation.
If guests want to book it along with a cruise it is available to add-on to select Disney Magic cruise departures in October and November 2018.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Return to New York City and Galveston in 2016

Disney Cruise Line has announced that it is returning to New York City and Galveston, Texas for a limited time in 2016.
The bookings for the new itineraries open to the public on May 20.
The Disney Magic will sail from New York City on October 7, 2016 on an eight-night Bahamian cruise with stops at Castaway Cay, Nassau, and Port Canaveral, Florida.
The Magic will also sail from NYC on seven-night cruises on October 15, 22, and 29. Those sailings stop at Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral.

Adventures by Disney 2015 Itineraries Include the Ecuadorian Amazon and San Francisco

Three new itineraries have been added to the Adventures by Disney portfolio for 2015.
The first new itinerary takes guests on a 12-day, 11-night adventure in the Ecuadorian Amazon and the Galapagos Island. Guests on this trip will have a chance to discover the “most untouched and bio-diverse areas of the world.”
The Ecuadorian Amazon adventure includes hands-on cooking classes, activities with local communities, exploring the historical colonial city of Quito, and more.
The other new itineraries include four-day, three-night weekend trips to New York City and San Francisco and Napa.

New ‘Lion King’ Exhibit On Display in New York City Through December 16

If you’ve seen a production of The Lion King on stage, you’ve likely been impressed by the awe-inspiring design of the show, from the hand-crafted masks and puppets to the gorgeous set design. Now, Disney has given Disney and theatre fans the chance to see these amazing designs closer than ever before to celebrate The Lion King‘s 15th anniversary on Broadway. Disney and USO Provide Entertainment for Sandy Relief Workers

In a partnership with the USO, Disney Theatrical Group recently arranged for a little entertainment for service workers in New York City to aide with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The move is part of Disney’s continued efforts to support victims of the storm, which swept through the northeast United States in late October, bringing widespread devastation.

The Disney Magic Arrives in New York City, Embarks on Disney’s First NYC Cruises

A few months ago, we let you know about the Disney Fantasy making a grand appearance in New York City, where it was officially christened. Yesterday, Disney Cruise Line arrived in New York City once again, as the Disney Magic ship sailed in to New York Harbor to begin Disney Cruise Line’s first-ever consumer sailings out of Manhattan.

Disney Channel Favorite ‘Jessie’ to Return for a Second Season

Sources have announced that the Disney Channel show Jessie has been renewed for a second season. The network has also ordered a script for a TV movie based on the series, though little is known about that at this point.

Disney Fantasy Sails into Port Canaveral

On Monday, Mickey Mouse and all his friends celebrated the arrival of the Disney Fantasy as it sailed into Port Canaveral.
Disney’s newest ship was met with an early-morning fireworks show, and was recently christened in New York City. Now in its home port, the Disney Fantasy will be awaiting its maiden voyage, which embarks March 31, 2012. The ship can hold up to 4,000 passengers and will be sailing 7-night cruises to the Caribbean.

Elise Schwarz Named Regional Sales Manager for New York City for Disney Institute

Today, Disney Institute announced that Elise Schwarz will be the regional sales manager for New York City, where she will be responsible for building relationships with local businesses that want to focus on leadership, superior customer service and creative thinking and innovation.
Previously, Schwarz held a position at The Corporate Executive Board where she was the director of sales and member services, finance and strategy practice. She moved up to that position after starting as an account executive with the company.
