Disney Publishing Worldwide Debuts New ‘FamilyFun Kids’ Magazine

Disney Publishing Worldwide has announced the launch of a brand new magazine entitled FamilyFun Kids. This bi-monthly magazine was designed to foster kids’ imagination and creativity with hands-on crafts, recipes, brainteasers and other interactive activities for children ages 6 to 12.

Ann Hallock, the Editorial Director for FamilyFun Kids, says:

Many studies show that creative thinking is critical for kids to develop as students and thinkers, yet unfortunately, U.S. creativity scores are declining, and arts programs are being cut. FamilyFun Kids’ is designed to spark creative thinking in children by giving them ideas and inspiration to make and do things on their own. There is no magazine out there doing this – and we know parents really crave this kind of creative support for their kids.

The first issue of this new magazine contains step-by-step photos and diagrams, ideas from real kids, and plenty of immersive activities – including activities from parent magazine Disney FamilyFun, reworked specifically so children can do them on their own. The magazine is available for $4.99 per issue on newsstands, or $23.94 for a one year subscription (six issues.) For more information, visit FamilyFun.com/kids.
