‘Boy Meets World’ Sequel Series May Come to Disney Channel

Many children who grew up in the 1990’s will fondly remember Boy Meets World, the hit sitcom that ran from 1993-2000 and became one of the most beloved and enduring shows for children of that era (including this writer). Following the show’s enduring success through syndication and DVD sales, TVLine is now reporting that a sequel series to the show may be in the works at Disney Channel.

Disney Channel Orders Pilot of New Show ‘Dog With A Blog’

For years, many of the Disney characters that we’ve come to love and grow up with have not been humans, but animals. From Simba in The Lion King to the Big Cheese himself, Mickey Mouse, Disney’s combination of animals with human qualities have produced some of our culture’s most treasured characters. Disney Channel’s ‘Jessie’ to Debut September 30

Looking forward to the new Disney Channel series Jessie? Well, you won’t have to wait much longer. Disney has announced that the series will officially make its Disney Channel debut on September 30, 2011 at 9:00 PM/8 central.
The series, which stars new Disney ‘It’ Girl Debby Ryan, takes place in Manhattan, where Ryan’s character Jessie arrives to leave behind her Texas roots and start a new life. Taking up residence as a nanny for a family with four children, the kids and Debby’s new friends help her adjust to life …
