Disney Store to Donate School Supply Kits to Boys & Girls Clubs of America

This fall, members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America across the nation will get an extra dose of Disney magic when they head back to school, thanks to a generous donation by Disney Store. This week, Disney announced that Disney Store, in association with the Disney Friends for Change initiative, will be donating 25,000 school supply kits to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The kits will contain lots of back-to-school essentials themed to Disney Princesses and Cars, including a folder, notebook, pencil case, pencils, ruler, eraser, sharpener, glue stick, and a pair of scissors. Cast members from Disney Store locations across the country will deliver the kits to their local BGCA chapters. The donations are the latest contribution to Disney’s longtime relationship with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where they have provided donations and the help of Disney VoluntEARS for over 50 years.

“Disney Store is proud to support Boys & Girls Clubs of America and admires the work the organization does to enhance the development of children across the nation,” said Paul Gainer, executive vice president of Disney Store. “We hope to support children in our local communities by providing them with learning essentials for the upcoming school year.”
