New Adventurers Outpost Meet and Greet Opens in Animal Kingdom

Guests heading to Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom will now find two of their favorite characters in a new place. This week brought the opening of Adventurers Outpost in the park, a new meet and greet location.
Adventurers Outpost, located on Discovery Island, will serve as Mickey and Minnie’s new home base at Animal Kingdom, replacing their old home at Camp Minnie-Mickey. The new location will feature mementos and photographs from the famous couple’s expeditions around the world, including photographs from such varied destinations as Nepal and the savannas of Africa.

Disney Parks Brings Virtual Character Experience to Times Square

This past weekend, a little bit of Disney Parks magic came to New York City, as Disney held a very special new character experience event in Times Square. Throughout the weekend, Times Square visitors were able to interact with some of their favorite Disney characters virtually, through the use of special state-of-the-art augmented reality technology.

Disney to Add Bonus Pics with Photo Pass at Select Character Meet and Greets

Have you always wished that you had a few more pictures of your favorite characters to enjoy once you arrive home from your vacation?
See?  Disney knew that.
And to that point, they are adding a brand new feature to their popular Photo Pass website.  Now, when you have your photo taken at select character meet and greet locations throughout the Walt Disney World Parks, the company will add – as if by magic – extra photos of the characters from your interaction.  The shots will be stock photos, but Disney promises that …
