A new collection of Pandora charms is coming to the Disney Parks just in time for spring.
Three of the charms are exclusive to the Disney Parks and they’re all perfectly pink! The charms are Pink Mickey, Marvelous Mickey, and Pink Minnie. The Pink Minnie charm is a spacer charm for the Pandora bracelets.
Other charms coming to the Disney Parks this season include charms inspired by Tangled and Sleeping Beauty plus charms featuring Tinker Bell, Ariel, and Winnie the Pooh.

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club recently announced a slate of special member events at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The first event is planned for Saturday, April 18 when Gold and Silver D23 members can enjoy the animated classic Sleeping Beauty on the big screen. This event takes place at the AMC 24 Theaters in Downtown Disney and includes special guest, animator and Walt Disney World Creative Designer Lon Smart.
All members will also receive a special journal that looks like the ornate storybook shown at the start of the film.

The animated Disney classic Sleeping Beauty has been released from the vault.
The film is celebrating its 55th anniversary and is now available in the Diamond Edition featuring a Blu-ray and Digital DVD version.
Sleeping Beauty took 300 animators and artists six years to create and included close to 1 million drawings and other pieces of artwork.
The Diamond Edition of Sleeping Beauty includes a deleted character – The Vulture – an Aurora sing-along, a 3D Maleficent sculpture, and more.

Later this summer, D23: The Official Disney Fan Club is once again hitting the road with the D23 Disney Fanniversary Celebration.
This celebration – presented by Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection – will visit cities around the country, commemorating Disney milestones and celebrating anniversaries.
This year’s Fanniversary will showcase theme park attractions, films, television series, the 1964-65 New York World’s Fiar, Sleeping Beauty, Haunted Mansion, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and more.

The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is set to debut later this spring at the Magic Kingdom, and Disney has just announced a new float for the parade.
The float will represent Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent in the form of a 35-foot-long, 26-foot high Steampunk-inspired dragon.
The Maleficent Dragon was designed in partnership with Michael Curry, a Tony Award winner who also collaborated with Disney Parks on the Tapestry of Nations parade at Epcot, and Finding Nemo – The Musical at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The film will screen daily  at 1:30 p.m. from January 1 to  January 31, except Tuesdays and January 19. Sources have announced that Angelina Jolie’s four year old daughter Vivienne will be making her big screen debut alongside mom in Disney’s Maleficent, which tells the story of how Princess Aurora came to be cursed by this iconic villain in Sleeping Beauty.
Although the majority of scenes depicting Princess Aurora will feature Elle Fanning, Vivienne will have a minor role as the child version of Aurora, sources said. There has been no word on how much screen-time Vivienne will actually see.

Maleficent, Disney’s live-action adaptation of Sleeping Beauty has added another member to the cast – actress Juno Temple.
Temple will join Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville as one of the three fairies tasked with caring for Aurora in her cottage deep in the forest. She will play the fairy Thistlewit, who is superficial and neglectful much like the other fairies.
The actress joins a star-studded cast which includes Angelina Jolie in the title role; Elle Fanning as Aurora and Sharlto Copley as Stefan, the half-human and half-fairy son of the human king. …
