Walt Disney Records to Release ‘Shake It Up’ Dance Soundtrack

Walt Disney Records has just announced they will be releasing the Shake It Up: I <3 Dance soundtrack featuring hit songs from the third season of the popular Disney Channel show.
The soundtrack will feature a selection of 12 dance tracks from Bella and Zendaya, the stars of the show, as well as guest vocals from Selena Gomez, Bridgit Mendler, Roshon Fegan, Caroline Sunshine, the McClain sisters and Coco Jones. It will enjoy its Radio Disney Planet Premiere February 23, and the music video for the debut track “Contagious Love” will debut on the Disney …

Club Penguin & Disney Release ‘The Party Stars Now’ EP

Disney’s Club Penguin and Walt Disney Records have released the first-ever EP from the number one virtual world for kids. Featuring six tracks, including the title track, The Party Starts Now EP includes every Club Penguin single released throughout the years and a bonus track that’s never been released.

Walt Disney Records Bringing Disney Music to LeapFrog Learning Platforms

Walt Disney Records and LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. have collaborated to bring Disney music to LeapFrog’s award-winning learning platforms, sources have announced.
Several albums, including Disney Princess: Fairy Tale Songs, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Baby Einstein Lullaby Classics and They Might Be Giants’ Here Come the ABCs will be released in the LeapFrog App Center for the LeapPad1, LeapPad2 as well as the Leapster Explorer and LeapsterGS.

Walt Disney Records to Release Spanish Language Versions of Popular Titles

In order to better serve their Hispanic audience, Walt Disney Records will be releasing five Spanish language albums of some of their popular titles, including the digital soundtracks to Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. Additionally, the company will be releasing two Song & Story titles and a collection of Disney Princess songs.

Walt Disney Records to Release Wayne Brady Children’s Album

Wayne Brady, a jack-of-all-trades in the entertainment business, recently collaborated with Walt Disney Records to release Radio Wayne, a children’s album that includes songs designed to teach kids valuable life lessons. The successful singer, actor and comedian has re-created the world of “drive-time” radio, playing “DJ Wayne” on the album and talking to kids in between songs.

Walt Disney Records to Release ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ Soundtrack May 17

On May 17, 2011, Walt Disney Records will release the soundtrack for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Composer Hans Zimmer, who also composed the music for the previous three Pirates films, has teamed up with guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela to create the latest soundtrack. Additionally, the soundtrack will feature performances from trumpet-player Arturo Sandoval and re-mixed songs by some of the top DJs in the world, including Photek, Adam Freeland and Static Revenger.

Mark your calendars! Walt Disney records will be releasing Mary Poppins: The Live Cast Recording on Tuesday, April 5th! The recording is from the stage musical Mary Poppins, and was recorded over five performances at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne.
