Walt Disney Studios Announce 2014 Movie Release Dates

After a huge year at the box office in 2013, Walt Disney Studios has just announced the release dates for its 2014 movie slate.
Starting out the year on February 28 is The Wind Rises from Touchstone Pictures. The movies stars the voice talents of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, Martin Short, John Krasinski, Jennifer Grey, Stanley Tucci, and more.

Video: ‘Lincoln’ Trailer Released

We’ve been eagerly anticipating Stephen Spielberg’s upcoming film Lincoln, which stars Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln himself. Now, the official trailer for the film has been released, giving us our most in-depth look so far at this exciting new film.

DreamWorks Replaces Disney With New International Distributor

Walt Disney Studios and DreamWorks Studios altered their long-standing distribution deal this week, which previously allowed Disney to distribute and market DreamWorks’ films both domestically and in countries all over the world. This week, DreamWorks replaced Disney with a new foreign distributor, Mister Smith Entertainment.
The new change comes as a result of DreamWorks’ financial resources being significantly decreased following several recent high-profile flops, including Cowboys & Aliens and I Am Number Four. ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’ Coming Soon to a Theatre Near You

“Gnomeo and Juliet,” Touchstone Pictures lighthearted, whimsical treatment of the classic Shakespeare play by a very similar name, will finally hit theatres next month.  But it is the animated feature that almost wasn’t.
