New Trailer Released for ‘LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game’

Disney Interactive Studios and TT Games have just released a new trailer for LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, which can be viewed below.
The latest trailer takes us through Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, LEGO-style, but the video game will incorporate elements of all of the POTC movies thus far, including the upcoming fourth installment.
You can expect the video game to be released in May, just in time for the debut of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Tickets for Disney’s Night of Joy Musical Event On Sale May 1

If you plan to attend Walt Disney World’s Night of Joy Christian music event, mark your calendars – tickets will go on sale Sunday, May 1.
The 2-day musical gathering will open at Magic Kingdom September 9-10, 2011 and will feature a variety of performers, including:
September 9: Group 1 Crew, Sidewalk Prophets, Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battistelli, Matthew West, Skillet, Newsboys, and Disciple.
September 10: Jars of Clay, MercyMe, TobyMac, VaShawn Mitchell, Kutless, Marvin Sapp, Chris August, and Sanctus Real.

D23 to Host 20th Anniversary Celebration of Disney’s ‘The Rocketeer’

D23, the Official Disney Fan Club, will be hosting a very special 20th anniversary celebration in honor of Disney’s 1991 hit The Rocketeer. The one-night-only event will be held at the historic El Capitan Theatre and will take place on June 21, 2011.

Pixar has been notorious for shying away from sequels for many years, with the exception of the Toy Story franchise and the much-anticipated Monsters University, (the sequel to the smash hit Monsters, Inc.), as well as the upcoming Cars 2. Disney Visa Cardholders Dine for Free at Walt Disney World

Free Dining is back!
This fall, Disney Visa Cardholders who book the “Memories Vacation Package” with their card will receive free dining via the Disney Dining Plan.
The vacation package includes Walt Disney World resort accommodations (three night minimum,) as well as base tickets (two day minimum) that can be upgraded, plus a PhotoPass Photo Book. Please note that the book will add about $100 extra to the package cost.

Disneyland Closes Several Attractions to Prepare for ‘Pirates’ Premiere

In anticipation of next week’s Disneyland premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which takes place May 7, Disneyland park has closed several attractions to prepare for the star-studded event.
Work crews are already building a screen and seating area along Rivers of America for the outdoor premiere event, and five attractions were closed on Monday, including Sailing Ship Columbia, Mark Twain Riverboat, Tom Sawyer’s Island, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes, and the Fantasmic! show. The attractions will remain closed until May 12, and Fantasmic! will reopen May 14.
