Fall Season Brings Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Epcot Food and Wine Festival, and More to Walt Disney World Resort

Whether you’re looking forward to meeting some Disney princesses or having a not-so-scary time celebrating Halloween at the Magic Kingdom, fall is a perfectly magical time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Princess Fairytale Hall in New Fantasyland is scheduled to open soon in the former site of The Scary Adventures of Snow White ride. It’s Official – ‘Disney Infinity’ Launches in Stores Nationwide

After months of waiting, it’s finally here – Disney Infinity has launched nationwide and is now available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.
The game was first announced in January of this year and since then fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this new Disney game.

‘Disney’s Planes’ Enlisted U.S. Navy and Other Military Resources to Ensure Authenticity

If you’ve seen Dinsey’s Planes then you know the film features quite a few military references – from reclusive Navy Corsair Skipper Riley to the Dwight D. Flysenhower (CVN 81) – that reflect the look and the demeanor of service men and women.
Filmmakers wanted to ensure authenticity in the film, so they enlisted the U.S. Navy and other retired and former military personnel during the making of the movie.

Rapid Fill Mugs Now Being Used at Walt Disney World Resorts

Back in July our friends at the Disney Food Blog let us know about what appeared to be the arrival of the Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mug program at the Walt Disney World Resort. At the time, new beverage machines were being installed at various resorts on property and it seemed very likely that the mugs would arrive soon after.

Disney Legend Tony Baxter to be Honored with Window on Main Street USA

Last weekend, longtime Imagineer Tony Baxter was declared an official Disney Legend at the D23 Expo. However, that was not the only honor in store for the truly legendary Imagineer, as it was also revealed that weekend that Baxter would be receiving his own window on Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ Inspires New Merchandise at Disney Parks

Earlier this summer the Beauty and the Beast Vinylmation series debuted to much fanfare with collectors. The series is nearly sold out, but there are more ‘Beauty and the Beast’-inspired products arriving soon at the Disney Parks.

Disney Cast Members Deliver School Supplies to Central Florida Students

It’s back-to-school season and Walt Disney World cast members recently donated millions of school supplies to students in Central Florida.
The “Monstrous Back-to-School  Supply Drive” included donations of nearly 80,000 pens, 100,00 pencils, more than 1 million sheets of paper and other items that will help students make the most of the school year.
The donation of school supplies has been part of Disney’s ongoing support of education since 2003.

Walt Disney World Announces Night of Joy Schedule

Next month’s Night of Joy event at the Walt Disney World Resort will feature two legends of Contemporary Christian music – Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith – along with other artists.
Disney has recently announced the schedule for both nights of the event, September 6 and 7. As always, the times, performers, and stages are subject to change.

Disney Consumer Products Unveiled New Items Including Fairytale Designer Doll Collection at D23 Expo

Fans who attended last weekend’s D23 Expo in Anaheim had a chance to get an exclusive first took at several new product lines from the Disney Store, including the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection.
This much-anticipated Limited Edition Disney Fairytale Designer Doll Collection features five Disney Princesses and their leading men. The collection includes Snow White and the Prince, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Jasmine and Aladdin, Belle and the Beast, and Ariel and Prince Eric.

New Royal Prince and Princess Attire Arriving Soon at United Kingdom Pavilion in Epcot

It’s been a few weeks since the world was captivated by the arrival of His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge. And in celebration of this royal birth, there’s some new royal baby attire debuting soon at the United Kingdom Pavilion in Epcot.
