Hiro and Baymax Arriving at Disney Parks for Fan Meet and Greets this Fall

The stars of Disney’s newest animated film are headed to the Disney Parks.
Hiro and Baymex from Disney’s Big Hero 6 will be meeting guests at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning in November.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests can visit The Magic of Disney Animation and tour the lab from the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology as seen in the film. After the tour they can meet Hiro and Baymax in Hiro’s workshop.

Registration Open for Animation Summer Camps at The Walt Disney Family Museum

The Walt Disney Family Museum is offering animation summer camps for kids ages 8-18 who want to learn more about the art of animation.
Participants can learn to create an animated story, embrace their creativity through painting and sculpture, and learn from professionals in the animation field. The camps are scheduled for June, July, and August.

Disney Consumer Products Debuts New Toys at the American International Toy Fair

Disney Consumer Products is ready to dominate the boys toy aisles this year with new toys inspired by soon-to-be-released movies and television series.

Musical Adaptation of Disney’s ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ to Make Stage Debut This Fall

Fans of Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame have likely never seen the musical stage version before, unless they happened to be in Germany more than a decade ago.
That will all change this fall when the musical stage version of the animated classic makes its US debut at the La Jolla Playhouse in La Jolla, California.
The 1996 animated film was based on the Victor Hugo novel and hand an Oscar-nominated score by Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz.

Disney Releases ‘Frozen’ Storybook App to Get Young Fans Excited for Film’s Release

Disney’s newest animated film doesn’t open in theaters for another two weeks, but there’s a new storybook app that gives young fans a chance to explore the story behind Frozen before they head to the movies.
The Frozen Storybook Deluxe app is available on iTunes and allows users to interact with the story as either Anna or Elsa, depending on how they flip the iPad or iPhone. Users can also create their own ice craft snow globes, and recreate scenes from the movie with frosty drawing tools.

Recently, we showed you the teaser trailer for Disney Animation Studios' upcoming film Frozen. However, this week brought a different look at the film, with a new poster and trailer released for international audiences.

This weekend marked the theatrical debut of Wreck-It Ralph, and its box office reception will certainly give Walt Disney Animation Studios a reason to celebrate.
